Synopsis
When Eilis is given the opportunity to emigrate to New York she jumps at the chance for a better life, even if it means leaving her family and home. Desperately homesick at first, Eilis soon finds romance in Brooklyn, but when a family emergency forces her back to Ireland, she finds herself torn between two countries and the lives that exist within.
