Synopsis

Sam Jackson was last seen on August 29, 2003. With no surviving family, her best friend, Abi Wright, is leading the search for clues. A month after Sam's disappearance, Abi made a vital breakthrough, stumbling across a VHS containing part of a video diary. Sam had secretly been conducting a one-woman reality TV experiment, recording her experiences of phone-dating.

Sam Jackson's Secret Video Diary features exclusive footage of these extraordinary tapes, which contain several revelations and clues as to what may have happened. The film follows Abi, along with other friends of Sam's, as she works with the police and the National Missing Persons Helpline to track down the players in Sam's secret emotional life.
The diary lifts the lid on the darker side of reality TV. But will it lead Abi to the truth? What really did happen to Sam Jackson?

This is drama masquerading as documentary, but fact and fiction fuse at the film's conclusion to create a one-of-a-kind experience. A genuinely unique film.
