Asylum
Synopsis
A film about exile and madness, set in a future that shows up the present. A virus has destroyed TV's 'memory files'. Late twentieth century culture has been wiped. A researcher is brought out of retirement to piece together an abandoned project known as The Perimeter Fence whose fragments suggest a bizarre cultural X-File, involving a dubious information broker, working from a Spitalfields basement, who persuades young women to become involved in an image/sound gathering exercise, which is not without danger.
