Blown
Synopsis
Blown thrusts you into the explosive world of international espionage. Set in contemporary London it centres on MI5 hotshot Will Matlock - loyal, driven, ruthless, and a trained killer.
But the world of the swash-buckling 007 routine is long gone, now replaced by painstaking undercover operations, deniable encounters and street-level strategy. His current assignment - a seemingly routine fraud investigation into the London offices of a global corporation - reveals clues to an imminent terrorist attack - and a network of intrigue and deceit that reaches from the Middle East to the grandest boardrooms of London financial centre.
His only ally in this game of mutual deception is Ellie, a high-class call-girl and key suspect in the case who he believes is an essential conduit to all he needs to know. But as the roller-coaster plot thickens, we realise, like our characters, that nothing is quite what it seems and that no one can be trusted.
