Blue Iguana
Synopsis
Ex-jailbirds Eddie (Sam Rockwell) and Paul (Ben Schwartz) are on parole and working as counter-hands in a New York diner. Eddie is quiet, calm, stoical and confident. Paul is loud-mouthed, impulsive, emotional and obsessed with movies.
They're best buddies and a team, but their lives are a dead end. That is, until bookworm British lawyer Katherine Rookwood (Phoebe Fox) walks into the diner with an offer they can't refuse.
Her plan takes them to London. The prize they seek is a fabulous gem called the Blue Iguana. The man who stands in their way is a psychotic small time crook, mullet haired Deacon Bradshaw (Peter Ferdinando). The unexpected consequence of Eddie's and Katherine's quest is True Love.
Cool charisma, comic book romance, pop art style: Blue Iguana is a smart, funny love story with guns…and mullets.
