Distant Shadow
Synopsis
As a four-year-old girl, Michelle witnesses the brutal murder of her mother. Sixteen years later she is still haunted by memories of the traumatic experience. Now living in a squalid boarding house and struggling to pay the rent, she is befriended by Charles, a mysterious older man who moves in across the hall.
It soon becomes apparent that there is more to this stranger than meets the eye and Michelle makes the mistake of investigating his activities, uncovering far more than she intended.
She discovers that Charlie is working for the British government involved in a highly confidential operation that may have a connection with the murder of her mother.
Through a series of twists and turns, Michelle is dragged into a world of violence, conspiracy and revenge where nothing is as it seems and no one can be trusted.
