Dunkirk
Synopsis
In the early months of the Second World War Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Empire and France are surrounded by the German army and evacuated by sea across the English Channel during a fierce battle in World War II.
Director Christopher Nolan weaves a three-stranded tale together over the course of one week on land, one day at sea and one hour in the air.
