Ex Cathedra
Synopsis
In a world where all social drugs have been replaced by the government funded, Exente; Ex Cathedra is a tale of three lost souls, Alexis, Kevin and Corban all fighting to find their place in this new world.
Kevin lives a stagnant life with an adulturous wife and a mundane career. This is until he is lured into the double-dealing underground world of the Exente trade where his life takes a sharp left turn which is destined to change him forever. It is here that he meets the aluring Alexis and the strangely astute Corban.
What happens when these worlds collide has consequences both perilous and liberating. Powerless to stop it, these three characters can only struggle through in hope of salvation and eventual redemption.
Depicting drugs and violence with religion, love and salvation, Ex Cathedra hits on themes that rarely mix on the big screen. It is an original take on the premise of the last prophet on earth and how he would interact and handle today's world.
