Jolene: The Indie Folk Star
Synopsis
Summer 2013, England and Wales. Jolene (19), an indie folk star, is having trouble convincing her writing partner Benny (20) to become more commercial. Too many Music Industry types become involved leaving Jolene feeling dazed and confused, and Benny - marginalised. They find themselves bundled into a crowded motorhome masquerading as a 'Tour Bus', headed to a beautiful, if rather remote Music Festival in North Wales. As they journey away from the metropolis environments of the City and further, and further into the unknown natural beauty of the Valleys they are able to confront their ambitions and emotions for the first time. Can they both get back to where they once belonged, and move forward together, or will all be lost in the noise and confusion? http://www.joleneindiefolkmovie.co.uk
