Just One More Night
Synopsis
It features an aging performer towards the end of her life. The story is told through the lyrics of her song. She is dragging herself around the country, performing her show wherever she can get a booking - to quote from the song - 'Well fame alone won't pay the bills'. It is a poignant tribute to fading celebrity. The performer is watched by members of the audience and those working in the theatre where she appears. Although it is an effort, she can still come alive on stage.
