Synopsis

Set during World War I, the film centres on an English private and an English officer who stumble across each other in the middle of No Man's Land. With the constant threat of German sniper fire they are forced to help each other back through the mud, smoke and destruction of No Man's Land to the safety of the British trenches. All around them the sounds of war rage.
