Sabotage
Synopsis
June 1815. Napoleon Bonaparte, surrounded by enemies, is about to play his definitive part in history. No problem. That's his job. The trouble with Boney is that he is already sick of himself.
He has spent his whole life building a personality full of strength, determination, charisma and mystery. But as happens to some rock stars, he now finds that 'super-leader' image asphyxiating and almost unbearable.
Meanwhile, one of his aides, the marechal Hugo Armani, has only one dream: to be like his idol, his sun, his guide, his Emperor.
During the battle of Waterloo, Armani's secret longing breaks through the frontier of desire to become first an obsession, then a severe neurosis and, finally, the first case of Napoleonic Delirium in modern psychiatry.
