Skint
Synopsis
Created by writers and directors with lived experience of poverty, SKINT demonstrates the grit, humour and courage of ordinary people when faced with some of the bleakest of circumstances.
From market stalls at risk of gentrification, through to vengeful waitresses, these monologues from poverty around the UK paint a stark picture of lives lived at the margins, as well as highlighting the strength to be found in community and the power of hope.
