Synopsis
Across one lazy afternoon an ageing beekeeper sifts through 50-year-old memories of spiteful outbursts and awkward social exchanges, recounting her deepening relationship with the honeybees at the bottom of her garden. As her reminiscences progress, she pieces together a journey from garden saboteur to tranquil and reclusive misanthrope. A vision of England that is provincial, sexually charged and potty-mouthed.
