Swing for the Fences

Synopsis

Kelly lives with and cares for her elderly grandmother, who suffers from dementia. The stress of her daily grind takes its toll as she tries to balance these additional responsibilities with her own life.

Kelly heads to the gym, where she tries to blow off some steam, but runs into Keisha - a fighter who Kelly knows is much better than her and who seems to have her life much more together. Jealous and angry, she picks a fight, looking for any excuse to blow up at Keisha. When Kelly accuses Keisha of stealing her bag, a fight is set up in the ring, marshalled by trainer Warren, who lays down the rules.

Kelly learns a lesson in the ring, allowing her to reflect on herself and her situation at home.
