The Devil's Tattoo
Synopsis
Ten environmental activists board an oil rig to protest against its reported destruction. They arrive in the evening and prepare to broadcast to the outside world. But things are not what they expect. They are surprised to find no maintenance crew. Then one of the group is bitten by a rat and later is found dead. And that night, another group member is exposed as a spy who has infiltrated the group. Struggling to make sense of it all, other - more sinister - deaths occur. They find a strange rune circle marked on a workshop floor and, discovering a hidden video camera, they learn that the rig's workforce met with similar deaths and were wiped out. An evil entity was apparently summoned in an occult session. Using living bodies, it transfers from person to person, leaving the host dead, and can only be controlled by the rune circle. Battling for survival, the group fragments and the evil exploits this, killing again and moving on. As dawn approaches, only four are left alive. Can they work out who is possessed and escape to safety? Can they prevent the evil from being released upon an unsuspecting world? A shocking twist provides unexpected answers.
