The Man Who Would Be Queen
Synopsis
Hugo is a popular entertainer, working in a Soho club. But, in a former life, Hugo was a pompous twit, a man's man who escaped the city life to live in rural splendour with his long-suffering, beautiful wife Anna.
To celebrate his birthday and to show off his new country house, Hugo invites his lawyer friend Steve and his celebrity wannabe wife Wendy for a peaceful weekend.
But the unexpected arrival of the charismatic Ben, an old flame of Anna and a former friend of Hugo, proves to be a disaster, as Hugo's weekend descends into a chaos of thieves, strippers, gypsies, madness and - murder?
