The Trouble with Men and Women
Synopsis
A bittersweet drama depicting the sentimental education of a young man who encounters all manner of women. Betrayal, lust and loneliness are encountered on his search for love, meaning, and the understanding of the opposite sex.
Matt's entire world turns upside down when his girlfriend, Deborah, leaves him for a new life in America. The repercussions are extensive, affecting all around Matt - particularly his closest friends, Vinnie and Susie, who try in vain to cheer him up. While Matt begins the long road to recovery, meeting several women in search of new romantic vistas, Vinnie and Susie's relationship comes under increasing strain. Matt soon realises that Susie is in love with him - and, worse still, that he is in love with her.
